This refund policy explains when and how EcoGrid Electrical Pty Ltd processes refunds. It applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Deposits
Deposits secure a booking on our installation schedule. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the scheduled start, your deposit is refunded in full. Cancellations within 48 hours may forfeit a portion of the deposit equal to costs we have already committed (e.g. equipment, scheduling).
Workmanship issues
If a defect in our workmanship is identified within the warranty period, we will rectify it at no cost. Where rectification is not possible we will provide a refund of the affected portion of the works.
Equipment
Equipment (panels, inverters, batteries, chargers, etc.) is covered by the manufacturer's warranty. We will manage warranty claims on your behalf where reasonable. Replacement of faulty equipment is provided by the manufacturer.
Change of mind
Once installation has commenced or custom equipment has been ordered, refunds for change of mind are not available, except as required by law.
How to request a refund
Email info@ecogrid.com.au with your invoice number and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 2 business days and resolve approved refunds within 14 days.
